By the way - anyone else notice the difference between the cover shot and the first shot here...? He's switched his back brake lever to the right hand side so he can do 1 foot 1 handers and not drop the cranks....!

Brillant - Gary - love the Mike D. pics....I remember that issue well - that front cover is killer, love evrything about these pics. the bike, the bowl, the clothing, the number plate, the style, 1983 baby. These are the pics that made ROM so appealing for me.

the picture of Zak in the pool at Rom is insane - I have never seen it before but it's probably the most amazing bowl picture I have ever seen - because I remember just how tight that white bowl is - I just would not have believed that height was possible unless I had seen that pic - awesome - it's now my screensaver too!

Great pics of Livi - I remember riding that park 25 years ago testing a Haro for ABMX (below) - amazing park - it used to sit in the middle of nowhere back then but it looks like they have built right up to the edge of it now!



Also, here's the legendary Tony Mac at Livi during the same test - probably the coolest kick-turn he ever did ('cos he generally just did massive airs) - LOL

zach shaw riding the pool at rom is the most awesome pic i have ever seen in that bowl.

other than that, crazy pat (arma) rides it really well. gets a few feet out and does some neat variations too.


i was always too scared to ride it. in fact i only rode it for the first time ever last year after i saw a video clip of mini chubs bailee riding it aged 4.
