That's no rental bike... Hutch clamp, real DX pedals, GT Pro bars, Proneck stem, Dia Compe MX1000 brakes and then a quality bit of welding to top it off....some one wanted a Hutch Shitstar, but didn't have the conkers to buy one... "daddy, will you ask Uncle Reamus to weld a platform on my bicycle please" "yes, little Trevor, I'll ask him today"Case closed
It seem strange to me as well as why would they let they kid do a frame stand coming up to traffic lights i thought they were teaching the kids of danger out on the street and not teaching them how to pedal backwards across a road sorry Adam i can see the idea but there is a thing of why not just use a normal bmx and not go to the trouble of welding up extra unwanted bits for teaching them road safety the welds are very good (just look at the extra tube on the bottom tube to seat tube) this would have been very expensive for a company to do at 50 bike per location and not used in teaching safety ! if you can find some info on this then i have to dismiss this - sorry
It's an 83 Mongoose 2 (late one). The frame standers are an aftermarket add on.
