"London" mod. You dont use a lower gyro cable, you have two cables from each side of the gyro, one to each side of the brake.

(I dont like it, but wont bore you all with why)

hmmm, I thought the london mod was just 2 barrel adjusters on a plate that sits on the last cable stop on the frame, then you run a cable to each side of the caliper.

Thats it. Some brakes come with an ally block that you use for that. Ive just re read what you put and you said a "weird cable with double nipples". I thought you said a wierd cable STOP. Sorry.

In that case, I have no idea what you have got there. Can you get a picture of it? Is it the straddle cable? They sometimes have an extra nipple about half an inch up from the actual barrel end. Its to give you something to hold on to when un hooking the barrel.

Right here's an important lesson as to why you should go to Dan if you want your bike powder coated.

I am still pretty much working 7 days a week so getting over to SBD is hard so i went down the road from where i work and got it done there, only problem is thay have fooked it up!! How? I here you ask well thay decided to coat over the top of the old powder coat so it looks lovely 

Lesson learned!
