It seems more & more ppl are using full face helmets these days....

Nearly everyone i ride with at Rampworx now opt's for a full face....

I'll always wear a full face now after smashing my face in yeears back..

i hung a 540 and face planted straight to the flat bottom... never rode the same after that!!

Soo... whats your preference... full face or open face??

i much prefer open face but i have recently gone full face as i think it is the way of the wise

i use full face for racing and open face for skatepark, though i do more sitting around than riding at skatepark

i like my teeth....so FF for me

though i dont seem to have a problem throwing myself down a mountain on a MTB with basically a potty on me head... go figure...

mtbing i wear a ff mostly as i'm riding high in the trees on north shore stuff.

I see a lot of riders who dont like to wear lids... seen some of them take some bad slams too!!

doesn't change their minds about using helmets though...

Sorry dude but it aint big and it aint clever

I wear an open face one for just basic park riding but if I'm pushing it a bit which I'm doing a bit more now then it's full face for me. I also slammed bad and broke my jaw many years ago. I hit the floor that hard that blood shot out of my ears, 2 days later I woke up in hospital in a lot of pain. Had I have had my full face on I wold have probably hurt myself still no where near as bad. I just don't get this not wearing a lid thing...it's crazy to me. Go look at the pictures of Dave (Rom Bloke) and then decide whether or not you should wear a full face or not??
