Here's my new ride.  Carlo kindly flowed me a TTL frame, 20.4 one with the detachable brake mounts.  Real nice.  Also, I've got a set of those new Seventies wheelsets that are super nice!  I'm just waiting for my Animal 24T sprocket to show up, then my back wheel will be slammed, 24/9 to slam a TTL, that's running a fat tyre also.  Awesome!

Yep, that's what I mean Zed.  It makes your chain sit in perfect tension, and your wheel can't move.   The best thing ever.

... till you get a flat tire and you wanna get the wheel out. Its not all that easy to get the chain off when the back wheel is SLAMMED against the front of the drop out slots. Not quite so good then.  :2funny:

And another thing to think about. If the back end of your frame is bent out of line a very small amount (either from riding or when it was made), then the drop out slots might not line up perfectly with eachother, causing a SLAMMED wheel to be out of line.

lookin' good Stevie, I like the shorter frame with chunky tyres :daumenhoch: Is that slammed without a half link in the chain dude? I've got mine almost slammed on my Campillo using a complete half liink chain but the problem is you have to break the chain if you puncture or need to take the wheel off for any reason as you can't get any slack to derail the chain...?

Its the song I think of when ever I hear someone say "Slammed".
In my head I just start going "du dur du, du dur du, let the boys be boys ..."

Currently it's on 23/9 which sucks, just waiting for the 24/9 to slam it.  I've got a connector link in my Kool Chain which makes life easy for punctures (if I ever got any, I've got Fly tyres don't forget!) haha.
