Am I the only idiot who has not noticed till today that the spindle is sided and the splines are longer on one side than the other
No wonder I had loads of spacers on and 1 crank arm was further away from the chainstay than the other.

its not obvious though is it... i did notice in the end but i still dont know which side the long is meant to go - im going with drive side...

never noticed that either. maybe thats why my chainring came loose on sunday. after I stripped them the week before to clean. will need to check it out tomorrow.

Also noticed that 1 crank arm comes out at more of an angle than the other whilst painting them
