Stupid newbe question, LHD?
« on: May 12, 2008, 07:41 PM »
Hi guys, could anyone explain the advantage of running your drive LHD?
I have ordered a new Eastern Jane & wondered what the point was, but I may run it anyway as it looks cool  8)
Also any idea what I should change spec wise? I know I should just replace parts as they wear out but I'm a tart & proud  ;D
Deffo doing tyres, but what else???

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys & girls at a future meet to show you how bad I am   :-[

Cheers.

if you do grinds and peg stalls etc and turn to the left, the chainring can get in the way, take unnessary knocks and cause damage to your chain. by switching it to LHD you can avoid that to a certain extent.

Cheers for that, I assumed as much, but wasn't sure as I never worried about it as a kid, & that was running much bigger chain rings   :LolLolLolLol:

looking forward to learning how things work & ride compared to bitd.
