Shamelessly stealing a cool thread elsewhere on this site (but I didnt wanna take away the great 80s thing going on there), how about "Guess the Mid school rider"? Magazine scans are OK, but try to use riders someone might know (eg; RAD Members, riders who went on to be known).


I'll start things off with this one.
(Clue, it wasnt taken in the UK, and there isnt much "Mid" about the bike he is on)

Nothing odd about Standing Gear forks! Im sure they are on a PK or Quad not far from here.



More clues and a second picture. He is from the US and was well known through the 90s. He is the guy on the deck in this shot, but you might get a bonus point for naming the UK rider doing the air.

No no no, although Clive was still riding BMX when this shot was taken in early 1991.


Surely I dont have to tell you what Bike Company this rider went on to represent?
The photo was taken about a month before he got on the team.

For most of the early 90s, riders used what ever parts they could get. I was lucky enough to have a nice dirtbike, but I rode with people using all kinds of frames like Firebirds, TAs, aero pro's, everything!

nope gave it away to a  lad who had his stolen,     good cause though, and it wasnt my favourite bmx from the 80's
