BATAVUS EBAY BARGAIN - COLLECTED TONIGHT - INFO PLEASE!!!!

i bought this off a local guy through ebay last sunday and collected it tonight, dont know too much about this brand apart from its a dutch make, and are redlines sister company/ distributor selling in the Benelux countries (holland, belgium and luxemburg)

this is apparently an 80's bike.
anyone have any more info at all?

well i collected it tonight and have had a little go at seeing what the frame will come up like, and not too bad i must say,  so im pretty pleased all in all .
not sure what brand the bars are but they look cool, has new rear wheel and tyre but rest of bike appears original spec, the frame itself has had a couple of stickers removed (which may just have been bike shop ones!) the rest are written in dutch.

has Tange ARX aero forks
Araya rim with old redline tyre on
Mx lever
Sugino chainwheel
KKT pedals
Odyssey rear brake (may not be original!)

will post some pics in day or two after i have given it a clean.

any info would be great, i dont know if i should restore. respray and make a new creation, or break it and retire on the profits! lol

you wont believe this guys, but i have found the actual builder of this bike, he bought the bike in 83 and raced it for 2 years! he is pretty sure its his actual bike! how weird eh? powers if the internet and all that!

me either to be honest, i did a quick google and went of the strength that it was described as redlines sister company! figured it may be a redline frame!

yeah i live in poole, and was looking for a new bike for my oldest daughter as her jnrfox is getting a little small now, and came across it, cool bike,
