Charlton tonight
« on: May 08, 2008, 01:03 AM »

Just got back from the Charlton Ramp tonight. Was a bit dubious about going tonight as my neck was in a bit of pain today from my accident a couple of weeks ago).  However it ended up being one of my better sessions.
I think I finally managed to nail Peg Stalls. Even though I've probably pulled it over 1000 times since I first did it about a year ago, I've never been able to do them consistantly. Until tonight. I was pulling it practically everytime tonight. About bloomin' time too...

However, I think I have aggrevated my neck injury somewhat. It has been slowly getting better over the last two weeks, but upon arriving home tonight, it is as painful as it was the night of the accident. Gonna rest it tonight and see how it feels in the morning before deciding whether i need another trip back to the hospital to get it checked out again. I'm hoping it wont be too bad as I've got Skaterham chalked in for tomorrow and obviously the Creation bash on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Rarman also turned up later on and had a good session too and managed to conquer the Volcano. Nice one.  :daumenhoch:

Nice one Trev. We were talking about those at Skaterham.
So, can you do them on the spine side too now?

I didn't try it, but feel confident enough to have a go. I was being a bit cautious last night as my neck was hurting. So I only went there for a gentle roll around.
But for the first time, I can actually go for it with the confidence of pulling it almost every time, whereas before it was pretty much hit and miss whether I'd dab or not. God it feels good though.

Now you can get your carve on and start grinding them.

Was it hot inside Charlton, or did you have the shutters open?

Had the shutter open and the fan on. It was quite nice there.

Had a little go at grinding. I'll try them properly next time.

the good news is that last night's neck pain has gone down enough for me to get back on a bike.
i was really worried that i had caused some more damage.
