hey dude its been a while butttt

i think theres a main threaded spacer (on the opposite side to the disk) supporting the whole crank, if my memory serves me its like a 26mm/28mm size, once this is unthreaded the cranks will become lose... then pretty much take all the spacers off (and the pedal of course) and slide the crank out.

make sure your chain is removed before you do this

sorry if its wrong, im a youngun and been running 3 peice for the last 5 years

cheers

First remove the pedal on the non-chainwheel side.

On this side you will find a large nut.

Undo this ... ITS A LEFT HAND THREAD !!

then there might be a washer and then there is a large washer looking bit with two slots cut in too it. use a screwdriver to knock it clockwise to unscrew it.

You can then pull the crank out from the other side.

Aaahhh! I see now... left handed thread.... thats why the bugger wasnt for coming off and explains why the crank came harder to turn too.... Thanks guys... ;D

Feel a bit daft now :-[ :crazy2:
Cheers,
