If you're riding a ramp with true vert on it, then you don't pull out out all. In its simplest terms, ride out the top of the ramp, turn around and ride back in again
Try and relax as much as possible, this will keep you closer to the ramp and stop you landing flat bottom. To go higher, ride faster

For mini's it's just an american bunnyhop out of the coping, for vert, what Rob said.
Tyre pressure is key, I stuck 80psi in my tyres and virtually doubled my height. You'd want higher pressure for vert, Rob runs 110!

Get air inches at a time - not feet.I cant air those silly little ramps but I can on proper 1/4's . Still slowly advancing on the big vert tho. We'll have a good go at creation.

An American bunnyhop is front wheel first.... also known way back when as a wheelie hop if memory serves me correctly
And yeah, for vert you definately need a pair

Don't worry about that sunshine - it's hooking up the front wheel you want to worry about!!!!

You know wot, it's not that hard... ya just gotta go with the ramp and roll out over the coping kinda thing...
Ya wont have to pull out much... just try to air by rolling out the top of the ramp!!
i sort of push my wheels against the coping as im rolling over it, then at the peak of the air sort of tuck myself into an 'air' position, then looking down, you can see where your gonna come in... i slightly bone my back wheel before i come down, then suck it back in over the coping on the way down!!
Also carving a bit may help on vert... and just look for where ya gonna come back in...
keep goin that bit faster each time!!
It's all mental!!

OK, simpler explanation....
easier to carve your airs slightly....
dont pull out.... roll up the ramp, roll out into your air...
spot your landing....
Keep increasing your speed!!
