Will Oxalic Acid restore these ??

never used the stuff, but am thinking of trying it on some Torker Pro bars i recently acquired. I was going to get them stripped and re-chromed, but is giving them a nice Oxalic Bath an option? Will it bring the chrome up gleaming ?

The bars have no major scratches, just minor surface scrathes and have that water spot look in patches and some of the chrome has lost it's 'zing' in its ding-a-ling !

thanks
Matt

Yes, it will have a significant impact on the grime and any rusty/discoloured bits but you will still need to give it a damn good polish afterwards  :daumenhoch:.

I don't have any pics of my Robinson yet but it came out looking like a new frame and fork  :).

I rather cheekily got Munners to do it for me  :-[, but I would guess that 1kg would be more than enough for a pair of bars  :daumenhoch:.
