I've had a bunch of Standards throughout the last 15 years or so but the bike that epitomises mid school for me is the STA.

...but of all my bikes my favourite was my 1995 Bicycle Motocross.

first of all i got to back up laz! the first i ever saw of hitchcox was at koc 97 i think. on a brown taj! with long hair trying triple barspins in the invitational jumpbox comp on the sunday. then he got picked up by custom riders to ride a standard for them to promote there stuff then in december of 99 at the tenth anniversary jam in davenport he became full factory standard after meeting rick! so he's been riding a standard since late 97 if my memory is correct!

a couple of frames really stood out for me in the nineties that had that 'wow' factor when one turned up at a park because they were so rare at first.
firstly the standard trail boss! which has basically become the trls *** range and the top end fit frames! (history) robbie morales had his name behind the trailboss frame as a signature frame as that was one of his nicknames, then he left and it evolved into the T1 progression frame until he left T1 and set up fit bikes and.......thats my take on it anyway!

the other frame was the 'king liberty' because they were so fookin rare! regret selling mine to this day. and i have no pictures of it

I haven't had enough frames to say which is my favorite.  I would need to have them all to be sure. >:D

I'm still liking the big daddys, but that may change.

Having missed out on the 90's scene (not sure, was either passed out drunk in a ditch or sliding down the side of a mountain on a plank) I'm still not too up on mid-skool stuff but I did find myself drooling over the STA at the Old Fools weekend (it's ok, I wiped up the mess afterwards).

I missed most of the mid school era but I have since purchased a 96 Hoffman Flash race bike which I really like (should be making an appearance soon), I also like the early S&M Dirtbikes and Challengers, Dan's red SBD, Del's Peregrine and Ron Burgundy's TNT (very, very nice  :smitten:).

I gotta say Auburns are definately my favorites, but of all of the bikes I've gotten rid of my Holmes is the one I would most like to have back.

Rode this most of the 90's and did everything I wanted (dirt and park) 93 Haro Master, the best bit is I swapped a GHP cruiser for it  :LolLolLolLol:

Not a classic but it did the job with out failing  :)

simple for me DIRTBIKE

id like to get my hands on a dmr trigger though

i had literally the first Trigger in the country  :daumenhoch:
Pre ordered it after seeing the proto at the bike show then pestered the guys at DMR/Upgrade so often i think they flew one over specially  ::)
only rode it a few times & sold it to buy a USA Taj, which is my favourite mid frame  :smitten:
