Yes,its a White MK2 Magburner from '84.....or its supposed to be!
Some kid went nuts with a can, so everything needed to nitromorsed apart from the wheels-these were scrubbed by hand...........

The frame is fairly tatty, but i'm workinh on it! :crazy2:

Apologies for taking the p1ss on getting back to you...

here's all the stuff i have......

The Haro cranks, haro chainring & B.B./ black, need a respray & are pretty heavy like...
so i've also put on there, the chrome D20 cranks with B.B. , i thought i had all the Tektro brakes from my Haro but all i
had was the one caliper (black), the others are Ad 990, hombre & a Mil hombre... im told you can still buy the same
Tektro brakes though!! The thread on the Tech 77 levers are slightly stripped, not all the way... also, 2 pair of used Snafu Hex pegs... an ACS 16T freewheel there for some reason?? and the stem & double bolt seat clamp there tooo!!!

So, have a look, see if there's anything you want and, i dont know, make us an offer??

ohh, also i have a pair of wheels there too which were on the Haro i had... they wasnt the original wheels to that
bike, i think they came off a GT, nothing special i dont think??  and some Black KHE lamello tyres too!!

there's the wheels behind the frame........  :-\

Just a quick reply to say thanks for the pics-I'll have a good look later-but I'm gonna be away for a couple of days(prob in the rain!)
I would imagine the postage is gonna be a lot on the cranks, cos they weigh a ton!
However, just looking over it,it will prob be the Haro crank set,tec levers and the tektro brake(as much of it thats there!),and
prob the seat clamp!I'll double check over the cranks I have later and give you a shout! :daumenhoch:
Thanks for the pics Dave;I didnt think you were taking the p!ss;please dont take offence!!!!!!
Wouldnt want to fall out with anyone!
Cheers,shorty50y

Bit of an update on this....
Who loves nitromors?
Not this bike!

It looked like a metallic hammerite type of paint before gettimg the grey coat underneath

Now primered-needs a sand down and then back to grey for this one!

Let me know what you think so far-(should i ask?!)
Be fair-this new school stuff is deffo new to me!

Thanks to all for the advice, and at long last, its done!
Cheers to Brianp for the decals and saddle(i know,i didnt use it!having it repaired!)
Cheers to Davemc for the cranks, chainwheel and brake-it sprayed up ok,didnt it?
The original idea was to paint it in grey-as it was-but i wanted something a bit brighter, and a colour i hadnt already got,SO.................

The paint is Ford Electric Orange(or St220 colour!),sprayed with aerosol-2 coats of primer,sanded,2 coats orange,sanded,2 more orange then 2 coats of lacquer!
Wheels are new-Alex Y22 48 hole rims,tyres by Wilkos!
Chain from Asda
New gyro
Brake lever from stuff in the shed!

Enjoy!

Are those forks bent backwards?

Are those forks bent backwards?

I was wondering that myself...couldn't figure if they are or if it's an optical illusion.

certainly don't look like a straight line forks to stem.

but other than that, and that the stem needs dropping down, it looks superb. good work.  :daumenhoch:

Well done - another bike brought back to life!
One thing I dont understand though...
Mirra frames were all 1.1/8" for aheadsets and threadless forks... with a clamp on stem
How come there is a shafted quill stem in there? Is it a 1" frame? or a 1.1/8" quill stem? Or 1" forks in a 1.1/8" frame?????

Ohh yeahhh!!!

The actually are 1. 1/8 aheadsets....

are they threaded forks you've put on it??

Yeah,I think the forks are bent slightly-but this is how i picked it up!
The forks are indeed threaded, with a quill, but again, its how it came to me!(bearing in mind,it spent some of its time in a river.....!)
I havent any other forks to put on-I thought it may have been changed at one point, cos there is no way of mounting a front brake other than a caliper type!
TBH,its not that important-its more of a learning curve-I hadnt sprayed stuff before this bike!(Argos cycles in Bristol did my last resto paint job!)
So,I'll ride it slow(age...........its a curse!)And all seems well-no wobbles or niggles with it?Frame is 1.1/8th,hollow stem, but stem doesnt fit my burner-which is 1 ".....go figure!
Just glad the colour came out right!
Cheers for the comments guys!appreciated!
