Things looking up now for this one, just waiting on a few riders to finalise their plans before entering. Got a good response from kids over at Herne Bay who were taking the flyers and posters from me although I wont get my hopes up until Sunday.
The signs are good tho for a decent turnout next weekend, which isnt bad considering we are up against a National weekend at Mansfield (All the best to Wolfy, Dan Pullen, PeteLav and the Oatens), but we do have definate yesses for Hersden from The Bexhill crew, which will as ever boost our numbers.
Of course anyone wanting to bring their Cruiser down I got a number of definates for that group so the more the merrier there too.

don't have an old skool ride ... just a cheapie from halfords, (extremepervert told me that i could still race, but without points), is that still the case, cos feel the time has come to race for the first time in 22 years. If thats not bending the rules tooo far then count me in.

According to the OSS calendar this meeting at Hersden is NOT one of the qualifying rounds. It is however one of Hersden's own Series which is happy to accept two criteria (correct me if I'm wrong here TK) one is that anyone can race an Old School legal bike in the class (my 17yo will be riding the HAWK) and the other is that YOU are OLD and if so it is OK to race a newer bike, eg. Dave Glendower on his Haro. It's all about having FUN so do come along and join us Mr Magoo you'll be more than welcome. Just don't forget who finishes last!!
