18TH May is round two of the Hersden Summer Series and all O/s riders can now pre register here now

. All you need to do as always is pm me with your plate number. You have until 7pm Saturday 17th May to pre reg.
If you pre reg then things change and cant make it can you let me know the same way ta.
Round one saw bad snow conditions that made a few , understandably, stay at home and the pre reg motos were scrapped. Hopefully the weather will be a lot kinder to us for what looks like a cracking meeting.

TK I'm holding out on registering until nearer the time as Mildenhall Big Van Bangers is on Saturday night and I might only be allowed one indulgence that weekend. Nephew Alex has a Transit ambulance lined up and I hear there's going to be some interesting material out, including maybe a 32' Winnebago!! BMX might take second place that weekend but will discuss tentatively will the guv'nor and see what happens!! Humps

Very interested but i dont have a number. I have a plate but it's blank

This would be my first race since 88 so help and advice would be great. I'm not a club member either.

I think this is the race ratty was PMing me about.

? Are all welcome

Cheers mate, what about my son, he's 13,never raced before but is a Bournemouth club member. No license either though, yet.

hersden isn't a formal club as such
but is a community track thats great fun

so no need for offical numbers or racing license etc
just let the registraton team know what numbers you are using on the day

Great to hear you are interested Andy, like kev said just pm me , let me know what number you are choosing. Your boy can register on the day. No liscenses needed. Just £5 entry for O/S AND £3 for everything else.

I've given up Carp fishing this year to concentrate on BMXing. I will still get some sessions in though as a night in a bivvy is just total relaxation, cant beat it.

Looks like a good idea Dean, might have trouble getting more than one of them on our start hill

. After years of bmx drought, things are going to kick off big time in East Kent in the next couple of weeks, May 4th there is a gathering at Herne Bay to get things officially opened there, with some demo races and plenty of gate practice. I will be there , I've also got loads of flyers and posters left over with the Hersden dates, If its ok with Russ and Steve I will get rid of some these to the local kids on Sunday.
May 11th is the big one, finally a regional where I travel less than hour to

, cant wait for it and god knows how many will be there for it but I'm putting a tenner on there being 200 plus riders invading Herne Bay for this one.
Finally we round of the East Kent triple header with round two at Hersden, get your names down
