Nottingham Old School classic
« on: April 26, 2008, 07:43 AM »
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST:-   http://expn.go.com/expn/story?id=3364986

then read my sh1t:-

After its success last year we will be running The Bulwell Outlaws/Bunneys Bikes Nottingham Old School Classic meeting again

is will be a post MK meeting, laid back and fun but this year we hope for a better attendance (last year we raised £250 for The Stephen Murray fund and hope to do WAY better for him this year)

We have 4000+ members so just a small proportion of these attending will still make a massive boost for Stephen and his families lives and we still have 5 months to plan it/organise it

please support this event  and pencil it in (when we set a date) to your diary's it every penny goes to Stephen and his road to recovery

I will be banging on about this more and more as it gets closer & anyone pledging help/cash will be a star

Many thanks

Mark (aka   DINGO  )

I'm up for it.

Hopefully the date doesn't clash with anything in my diary.

With the amount of riders in OS at the moment, I'm sure we can top the success of last year.

The Scottish Region will be starting tomorrow and hopefully their numbers wil increase over the series.

The North Region has stepped it up a lot this year and everyone is really enjoying it.

And The South Region is going strong too.

Maybe a alot of RADBMXer's who haven't OS Raced before might want to have a go at this meet too.

I've been to 2 Races and I've been rubbish but its exhilarating and fun.   You can't ask for anything more.

So it would be a good time for anyone thinking of racing to get some practice in.    You wont be disappointed.

If you race once, then you'll want to race again.

Since I've joined RADBMX, everyone I've been in contact with have been supportive and decent and fair.

The BMX Community as a whole stands up for their own.

We have a great bunch of lads and lasses here who truly love this sport and everything about it.

What happened to Stephen was tragic and I've been following his progress with astonishment.

From being totally paralysed to the movement that he can now achieve is nothing more than a miracle and I wish him the best for future.  With his determination and the support of his family and friends and the BMX Community as a whole, I hope he can achieve it.

So hopefully any RADBMXer's who don't usually attend any meetings will make an effort to go to this meet.   You wont be disappointed.   You dont have to race.   You'll have fun just being there and bring your families too.

It'll be a great day out!!  :daumenhoch:

Would have been so much better if it was a real "burner" oh well theres always this year >:D

Dave, I have been watching the race reports, and the vids and you have come a long way, sadly I feel I have been going backwards. Since I won the last winter race I havent felt it since  :-\

Im sure I will get it back, but at the mo I just dont feel up to it.

We will come and see you soon up your way, and have a crack :daumenhoch:
