Falcon Pro Theta with Tange Forks.   The originals were fooked when I went head to head with a car and lost.   Flogged it for £40.

Quadangle F+F bought of a dodgy bloke and then built up, ridden for an year and then sold to another dodgy bloke for a ZX Spectrum + Games.

That must have been early/mid 1985.

Not had a BMX until late last year when I bought a Quad Freestyler.

My list starts with a Burner (rah!) - An Ultra Burner in Silver n Blue. Bent the 7x's within a week, but fortunately it got stolen.
Got £135 insurance for it, bought a Panasonic ghetto blaster. tried to breakdance but realised I was crap at it.
Burner was found by Police, so i got that back...and kept insurance money  >:D

Saved up £55 (1 kidney in old money) to buy some blue Tuffs (still got them)

Sold the whole lot (less wheels) to buy a Tamiya RC car....what a mug!

Got back into BMX a year or so ago....now broke, reading rad late at night and alienating my girlfriend in the process...

but loving every minute of it :smitten:

Only had 1 bike between 82-87....Halfords Turbo!! (but I did put on some CWs, shimano DXs, mushies, aeroyal, whitewalls).

Me dad took that and my Raleigh chopper to his workplace so the lads could get around the car factory :crazy2:

I must admit I wasn't fussed at the time, I thought I was too grown up to be riding kiddies bikes at 17!!

I had a Silver Fox, can't remember what happened to that  :-\

Then I brought a DP Freestyler, swopped it for a PK Ripper Frame & brought some LGs

Then I swapped the PK for a Haro Freestyler at Rom, now I really can't remember what I done with this, when I got a Skyway TA off Chris Young, which I built up just like this......

Then swapped it for a Sony Walkman when I stopped riding  :'(

I had a mark one blue burner (non tuffs) which i got christmas eve from Halfords with an insurance cheque from my grifter being stolen. Wanted the tuff version, but were sold out.

had that 2 years, before it got nicked, By that time it was sprayed gold with all black bits.

Then had a team burner in summer of 1985, the Andy Ruffell team special version, wanted the Team pro but parents couldn't afford it.

Made it look like the team pro at first, then customised it a bit.

Sold it for £50 to buy a pair of "Levi 501's in black" in the summer of 1987. ;D

My bitd virgin was a red burner for xmas....the majority remember how rubbish they were but I absolutely loved and cherished that red bike at the time and it formed a great platform from which to upgrade, lets face it, it could'nt get any worse!!

I changed every last part on that burner to include black tuffs, robo pro bars, uni turbo, DX's, I even had the f&f chromed through a local bike shop.  I remember it took that long for the frame to be returned to me that the local bike shop took pity and loaned me a second hand Jag from their shop, so when I did eventually get my frame back not only was it an anti climax but it was like riding a tank.  Not too long afterwards I got a brand fire new bull burnished looptail ripper which I still proudly own to this day.

God only knows what happend to that Burner frame...but hey, who really gives a cack, i've still got my bitd Looptail !!

Traded my last bike in at whiteheads for £40 towards a shitte mountain bike!

It was a redline with 400's, xcIIs, redline, stem, bars. If only i'd worked for
an extra week for the £40 I was short and stuffed the redline in the attic!

Still gutted and will be for a while yet  :yahoo_silent:

My 85 GT got robbed from the side of my house  :-\

I got a Gen 1 Master with a craked Z Rim of a mate really cheap, robbed the yellow Skyways of my little sisters Tuff Burner and painted my Haro yellow and Black. I had that for a year or so and saved up every penny I had to get an 87 GT Pro Freestyle Team.

The last time I remember riding my Haro it had a Tizer bottle strapped to the bars and the top tube and me and a load of mates were jumping it in to a canal. (we did not want to get our good bikes wet  :idiot2: )

I think the GT got swapped for some magic beans and a night out at the Hacienda  :idiot2:
