Ive been trying to build a set of 36s since before Xmas, Ive only got one done so far!  :buck2:

That wheel is nice, but its a bit to "low rider" lookin for me.

if i new the length to cross lace i would, but they are very tricky to lace up.
so i built them for the flat.
i will one day multi cross them.   :)

AH you say that but how do you explain the Chainlink handlebars you are also going to use?

The way that “manly” used to do the 95s was to have them in pairs, with a pair of spokes running next to each other where one used to be. That way the lacing and the spoke length were the same as if they were 48s (Apart from the change in position of the hole in the flange, but that makes very little difference to the spoke length).

Mad twist lacing there Dan! I'd be up for doing a twist lace at some point. I used to have a pair of Manly 71's & I'd always take them to see a mate of mine in Halfrauds, to get them trued. He always used to say 'fooksake not those things again!' when ever I turned up with them :LolLolLolLol:

Must take a fooking age to do a set of 95's!?!

nice wheels! i built a 72 spoke wheel using a small flange hub and araya dome rim by drilling and doubling up the spokes, unsuprisingly the flanges snapped off!!!
twist lace pro class wheels on my old pk

An old mate (Adam) that used to work at Heff's was fooking great at building wheels with those twist lace spokes, mad as fook to look at but great to ride on as very stiff  :daumenhoch:

Dan, I got dizzy just looking at those wheels  :LolLolLolLol:
