Orange parts?
« on: April 23, 2008, 05:38 PM »
Maybe the worng forum, but...

Are Orange parts the corrcet era for early 80's?

I've hopefully got a loopy ripper coming from the states and might do something along the lines of olliecw....but wasnt sure whether it would be mixing early 80's with mid 80's?

thanks

Martin

Orange parts think Ruffle Streetbeat, Vincent Airzone, CW Cali Flyers and Freestylers more getting towards mid 80's. I don't remember to many orange component bikes?

But it's your build so build it how you want I say.

good taste my man,   ollies bike is sweet. i can vouch for that as i painted it along with a few of the orange parts on it.

I wouldn't worry about era correct colours, just do it how you think looks nice. better to be a bit original than knock out another run of the mill ripper.

you boys don’t miss a trick, do you?! :LolLolLolLol:

I've started accumulating red bits for another build, and was thinking of getting the frame done in candy red or maybe candy blue....

But then I keep thinking how cool Ollie’s bike looks...

But don’t want to blatantly rip his look off.

Decisions, decisions

Blimey!

Looks like I started something here!

the trouble is, I can think of anyway to improve on Ollies bike, so I'm gonna be stumped on how to do it without it being identical?!

I wouldnt dream of bringing it to MK, if it does end up being similar....

TBH, without sounding crawly, Ollies ripper stands out above any of the others I've seen both here and on bmxmuseum in the states

Hope that puts all your minds at rest?! :LolLolLolLol:

PS Nicfred's not selling his Z's anyway :'(
