I'll give him a call. I just thought it would be easier if someone had a spare OS-legal race bike he could borrow, rather than the hassle of people chipping in with parts to build a bike up for him, then taking it to bits after the race.

Its a good point but building a bike isn't to hard and taking it apart is even easier.

If he's got most of his bits then we can just build it up.

If he's only missing a few parts and somebody's got some spare then its not too much of a hassle.

I took Creamy's Yamaha BYZ completely apart last night and that took less than 30mins and most of that time was spent trying to find a spanner or socket that would fit the end bolt on his 3 piece crank. I couldn't find one that fitted the Nut and fitted in the space around the crank housing. I gave up in the end. But it was still less than 30mins.

So its not much trouble!!

He could just borrow one of our's
20riders = 3gates.. Just borrow a bike from who ever he's not racing against.

Easier said than done scary_leary!!!

All of our gates will be after each other.

And they start as soon as the last race finishes.

You could hold up the start to make sure you've got your ride but thats just bad manners!!!!

I wouldn't do it. I feel embarrassed enough with my non-existant riding skills to draw even more attention to myself!!

Lee, I think I still have an old MotoX helmet. It's quite heavy, but should keep your head intact. I will look this evening and will advise.

Yeah!! We dont want any excuses to back out.

We're going to beat our highest no of riders for a round.

Should be some good racing.

Preston is less knackering than Coppull and you get a really good view of the racing.

Hopefully an OS spectator will be willing to film all the motos and finals so I can stick them on my website and on here.

Anyone without Rider/Bike pictures will get them taken there. Make sure you dont leave without one being taken.

I went to the track last night and it was good fun.

Hopefully any rider who hasn't filled in their details for Rider/Bike will get them sorted this weekend so that I can update everything at the same time.

Check this topic out for details on how to fill in the details. If you have any problems then just for help.

I haven't heard how Tartan Army is getting on with building a bike up at Preston. If you need help or parts then now's the time to ask for them as the the race is only 2 days away.
