Fantastic Pics Stodgy.

Looking at those pics I noticed something interesting. (Well interesting to me!)

I always noticed that although Neil usually used white EZ bars, at KOS 85 he actually used Chrome EZ bars.
Your pics clearly show him with white bars (and orange grips). However other shots have him with Chrome bars and green grips.

I've come to the conclusion that he must have bent or snapped the original white bars and maybe used a spare set later on.
Craig rode that comp with a chrome Pro-Lite with green Tuffs. Maybe he used one of Craig's spares??

He had a couple of different bikes Trev - you'll notice the orange seat on vert changes to white for flatland also. I suspect the magazine pics with the chrome bars were taken before the comp started (or after) as there are no spectators and the weather is so much better.

If memory serves me right I think Campbell rode two different bikes too.

Really good to see those pics, thanks for posting.
At that time craig was riding the green/chrome prolite for ramps(free-wheel) and a chrome/blue bike for flat that ran a coaster.
Pete hawkins always had a load of spare parts in the tour van. (thats the guy walking across in the woody pic)
Looks like hugo gonzales watching in the side glide pic.

Stodgy, I was at that KOC and from the look of your Keyhole pictures I was stood right next to you! Have got almost the same photos that I took.

Didnt the contest get rained off but the sun came out later and the skyway USA team still did their demo. Then the actual KOC happened the following weekend? Im sure we all went down there 2 weekends running.

Cool pic Ross. I thought he was still wearing the red neck scarf for a minute there.
