I have I got the wrong gearing again.

Somebody tell me what gear to use?

I want to be on level ground with this race. My 47/16 gear fooked me up for days!!!

If I have the same gearing as everyone then at least I can't blame my ratios!!!!

Is anyone going to Coppull tomorrow for a practice.

Or Preston.

I need to get some practice on my Haro.

The only time I went to Coppull was to meet dibly and I was riding my Coyote Schizoid.

As a track Coppull and Preston a way more scary than Bradford!!!

I went on a 4 day bender to benidorm.

I had to have 2 days off work to recover.

I'm still not right.

I'm getting too old for this kind of lark.

I blame all that circulated air on the plane. I must have caught something off some disease ridden passenger!!!!

And on Monday, I'm off on a 2 day bender to Sheffield for the Snooker!!!

Creamy is racing this Sunday.

We just finished building his DP Firebird Delta II tonight.

Does he need pads on his bike to race because he doesn't have any.

His brake is crap. Don't stop on front of him while he's moving. He'll flatten you.

And I think he might be using his motorcycle helmet to race in!!!!

Cool the more the merrier

No pads needed

Long sleeves and full face though

and may be a number , not sure about that they may supply one

I am gonna be only guy on the gate who has not had a practice....

Been working 16 hour shifts this week with various jobs I've been doing.. gonna turn the build up of stress into pedal power!!!

ps - Whats the best way to get to the track from the motorway... last time my SatNav took a proper cross country route...

UPDATED IINFORMATION at 4:49pm

Which ever way your coming turn off at Charnock Richard Services.

At the services on the South Bound follow the exit past an old pre-fab building and turn off to the left and follow it out onto the road which leads to the bridge over the motorway (it leads to the hotel which is on the north bound Services). DO NOT FOLLOW the exit back onto the motorway. THAT WOULD BE BAD!!!!!

When you hit the road which goes over the motorway (Mill Lane) turn Left. At the end of this road is a little roundabout. Turn Right at the roundabout and stay on this road A49 (Preston Road) and straight over a mini roundabouts until you see a big yellow pub called the Alison Arms (Postcode PR7 5DU) on the left. The lane which leads to the track is directly opposite this. Go down this lane past a small prefab building on the right and straight after the Football/rugby pitch (on the right hand side) is a potholed track leading to the Track (you should be able to see the Start Hill on the right past 2 Rugby/Football Pitches). Its approx 1.5 miles from the services so ignore any pubs you see before 1.5 miles.

Do not be tempted to park in the Rugby/Football pitches Car Park as its usually full and they might get arsey. Carry on down the lane and find the track leading to the BMX Track!!!

If your on the North Bound M6 turn off at Charnock Richards Services and Find the Trade Entrance. It'll be on your left before the Hotel probably just after the Slip road so be on the lookout for it. Once your on Mill lane turn Left and follow the directions above for the South Bound directions.

I would say that it is the easiest way because its all motorway driving which is quick apart from the 1.5 mile from the services to the track.
