Rather annoying to say the least as I'd been watching it initially just to see what kind of price it fetched. For days and days, no-one made any bids and I'm thinking maybe there's a bargain to be had there. In my mind I'm rearranging the already groaning garden shed.
Then all of a sudden there's an error in the listing (cough-boll-cough-ocks-cough) and it's pulled.

I'm guessing some sneaky Alan B'stard made a bit of an off-eBay deal with the seller; which had it been auctioned with a reserve and not made it at close, then fair enough. We all know how things happen on eBay, I'm not beyond keeping schtumm about things that I happen to spot that maybe specific collectors might have an eye on. There are other non-BMX forums that forbid mentioning live auctions for that very reason.

S'just not cricket, in my humble opinionated opinion.
Bad form, sir, if you're reading. >:(

be annoyed at the seller mate not the buyer, if a offer was made the seller accepted simple as. if there was no bids he probally thought it might be his only chance of flogging it. have to admit ive bought things this way.

Yeah, as long as it was a sensible offer, I suppose you're right.
By sensible, I mean the middle ground between more than the buyer expected and less than someone better informed (and/or cheeky) might've asked. Everyone wins.
