Here's my Daughters new Dirtwerx race bike for 2008, she has been at me to build it up for ages. It's a bit bling but who cares.

Really nice bikes the Dirtwerx I've got a Pro that I've been riding for the last 3 years and love it, glad to see another one getting used

95 to 2000 they were the most expensive race frame on the general market at the time from what I can see from period mags, cost was about $375 for a frame when a S&M was about $250 and a good alloy frame about $300. Ain't no shock they went bust.

I've got a test out of Snap mag somewhere I'll try and find it next weekend

Thanks for that guys, she won on it again this weekend, it seems to gate much quicker. Don't know why but she's a flier, should have kept it for my self.

Big thanks Bigplinky for posting the pics for me, I just can't get it right. Be great if I could have a look at the write up mate if you can find it.

Dirt Werx was Harry Leary's company which he started up after leaving Balance.

Quality bikes that never really took off mainly due to it not being a fashionable brand and a few quirky things like the tiny headtube (rather than a standard BMX 4" head tube).

Yes I'm still alive chaps, still old school/mid, but just don't have time to go online or show them, plus as you can see I have no idea how to post the pics. Thanks for the info I have 3 of Mr Leary's specials, one white and 2 x chrome and have done some decal kits if anyone wants one.

Seems to be more of these popping up across the pond than here in the states. Here is mine with the proper Dirtwerx fork (rarer than the frame). Of all my Mids this has to be my fave . I have a 24" in the werx (err).

. There's lots in the UK because they've been DIRT cheap in the states over the last few years I only payed $100 shipped for my NOS Pro frame

Boss made them but my be they were a bit slack when they were doing it as the seatpost tube on mine ain't welded at 90 degrees to the bottom bracket shell

Yeah my 20 isn't without issue either, the BB shell is a tad square and was a booger to install the bearing cups into. Haven't got around to fool with the 24 yet to see what issues it may have. I do know it is an odd one with a 1" seatmast (for 7/8 post).
