I work with a guy who was local to lowestoft, he told me they closed the track, and the hiring of bikes, when someone crashed pretty bad.
Insurance reasons I guess.
They sold off the bikes, he bought one, im sure they were ammaco?

I would've liked to have bought a few of them bikes  :daumenhoch:  The pleasurewood hills track was probably one of the first proper tracks i'd been on.  So are you a Norwich boy fouronethree?

I was more a country boy back then, Reepham area about 15 miles outside Norwich..
Plenty of trail/dirt tracks, fields and woods to ride in.

Norwich old track was in Old costessey, at the Atlas agregates quarry, between old costessey and ringland.
It was on private ground so you could only use it on official race days.
If you didnt know it was there you would never find it.

The new track is Sloughbottom park, near asda on the ring road.

Im not sure which tracks were nbmxa or ukbmxa.
I think norwich was uk, brandon was nbmx??
I know they used to have nbmx/ukbmx club challenge every year.
