NORTHERN Old School Summer Series 2008 - POINTS TABLE.

Don't know what you guys think to this... and I hope I have got the points system correct..

I have given Oberon / Moley & Heywood 11 points each... for reasons that those present will understand those 3 didn't take part in the final's but it seem's unfair that they should draw a blank considering why the did not race in the finals..

The other matter is Smithy & Emma... they were both abscent from the finals due to 'alleged' activies in the rear of a van...  how do I award these two points? please advise....

I wasn't getting at you Beardy mate.  I'm new to this scoring lark too.

I just couldn't figure out how the scoring worked because the South's didn't match up to the North's.

And trying to figure the scoring out just by the data is a pain in the arse.

I have now checked it out and that looks like the way the system works for the south.

1st to 7th Place = 50pts - 32pts with 3pt gap between positions
8th Place onwards 30pts - 2 pts with 2pt gap between positions

The results needed explaining because hardly anyone knows how its scored.

I was trying to find out if there is a proper description of this scoring system and nobody has come up with them.

The only difference in the North Region Winter results is that Hunterdubber would be on 66 pts and Dibly 65 (they were both on 64pts which was wrong)

There might have been other results wrong but I checked them and the Final placings are the same except for dubs who should be one place a head of dibly.

I haven't changed the results for the North Region Winter Results as it all over and done with.   But if you check them you will see that I am right.

Everything is sorted for the Summer Series now.

I will add some notes to the site so that people can see what the scoring system is.   Hopefully all the other OS regions use the same scoring system as the North and South.

Tables have now been amended.

Creamy should be racing his DP Firebird Delta II.

The North Region should rival the South in terms of riders this year.

It should be a good OS year.

Everybody appreciates the trouble your going to keeping tabs on things
and providing a Points table  so we can see the rivalry 

There will be a couple of more name added to mix as the season progresses 

a couple of one off  apearances too

I'll update the points on my 'fancy' sheet when I get home tonight... taking the wife out today... its her birthday.. 

The sheet I did is easy to update, so I will keep that running throughout the series.
