From a marketing perspective, I'm not dissing it.  GT has come up with something different to show what it can do and it's got us talking about it, so I guess the marketing bollox has worked.

But from a riding/performance perspective, I doubt it offers any benefit over a "normal" frame of similar weight and strength.

I also suspect it will be a bit of a handful keeping that GT stable over a big set of doubles in a crosswind (and those supercross jumps are big!).

think it would look the muts it pre peg carbonfiber  with just some subtle graphics  :10_2_12:
its the way forward for those at the sharp end of the sport lookin for that 00.1 of a second gain
its not something i would buy but can see why they would go that way

looks the business to me - its just progression, its like F1 cars some say the older ones look better than the current ones - but you can't argue with the performance gains

Heres some more pics of the GT

I'm all for evolution of the sport but it's just plain ugly, we were trying to figure out how you fit the rear wheel this morning (as you do, bit like reading the papers with your coffee n brekkie) and they look to be sealed drop outs ???

Like peeps said b4, cross wind, big jumps aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh, Mike's are better, proper BMX's :daumenhoch:

i would've thought it's either a bolt through axle or there are caps that fit over the ends of the drop outs after you've stotted the wheel home??

Rumour has it Hot Wheels have brought some in.  I think they retail for £850 (don't hold me to that though as I'm not 100% on the price).
