Well I am glad there are some people with style on this site.  That bike is all kinds of wicked, I would love one.

It would look absolutely incredible with a set of Answer Scythe Carbon forks on it.

Give the frame to me and I will make it look out of this world.

When Vans first did the downhill bmx series a few years ago all the top boys were suddenly running cro-mo frames and flat pedals, I wonder how long that thing will last on the UCI SX tracks and any race in a side wind (like Bulwell  :LolLolLolLol:)

 :) DINGO :)

Most of the GT team still ride the aluminium Ultrabox frame, which seems odd if this new carbon one is supposedly so good.

You'd think they'd have their factory team on their flagship frame.

same as the vans triple crown down hill bmx course,    i noticed back then most the riders opted for cromo frames and forks, ali frames and carbon forks wouldnt of lasted long  :buck2:

Lots of references to progression in this thread, but what has this frame actually progressed other than design/aesthetics?

Specialized, Haro and Mountain Cycle all made monocoques in the 90s.  Supercross and Avent have already dabbled in carbon (who remembers the BMX Plus Supercross carbon test when Neal Wood disappeared over a double at Sheep Hills and reappeared carrying 2 halves of a bike?).  And there are bikes out there already with similar or better strength to weight ratios.

When GT sells a frame that will guarantee me a 40+ win against Jon Moore, that's when I'll acknowledge progression (if that happens, I'll acknowledge bloomin miracles)  ;)
