Bare Metal, rusty frame!

I have stripped the paint from my Redline, but now i am left with a rusty fram, its not that bad, light surface rust only, i was wondering whats the best thing to do to this before i apply the paint, any ideas??

just sand paper to get the rust of and help key the primer.

thought so, any reccomendations on sandpaper grades, i dont want to be to harsh!

if your painting, 400-600 wet and dry will be fine
