tbh dj i feel the same, a 360 whip does it for me, one spin one whip nice and gracefull and you can see the trick,

spinners trick reminds me of pro table tennis, you can't see what the fook there doing or see the ball

trev, i think this is another looptail moment, DJs post was a referance to his surname spinner,

think he was the first to spin the 1080,  what he's saying is it's looks boring now with triple whips with

a 720, too many whips and spins, the 360 whip is pure, the 360 double whip is kool then after that it's

just whips so fast you can't enjoy the trick

i agree with too many tricks in one trick isn't that great to watch.  i would prefer to watch a nice stretched and stalled no hander to watching a no hander to no footer to x-up with really quick variations.

so many whips.... it is too hard to watch. just like watching all the new school fast spinning tricks where you can't really see what is going on.
but i guess as a rider, you will want to see how many you can do.

bitd, i pulled a quadruple decade. when i pulled that, i felt it was a really great achievement. but it must have been boring to watch. too much is good for a rider, but not for a spectator.

It's probably strayed off topic a bit this thread but I'm the same. I appreciate the difficulty that goes into some of the new school tricks but just like you Trev I love to see good stretched and stalled but yet simple variations. Lee Reynolds was a prime example, his Can Cans were supreme, high, smooth, stalled and stretched beyond belief! I sometimes wondered how he got back on to be honest.

Anyhow....on the name front...I'm stuck....but I do know someone called Wayne Kerr and he is!

The other issue I have is, as a contest MC its fooking difficult to call some of this sh*t coz you need slow motion replay to figure out what happened!

Also if you're MCing (or judging for that matter) then it's your job to be able to tell what's going on, otherwise if your brain can't keep up with the high level of complexity of BMX then maybe you should be watching football
