Hi, I've been offered a set of these rims in chrome and don't really know much about wheels after the mid 90's are they strong rims?

don't know too much about em either mate....other than Alex rims don't normally seem to wear that well? the ones i see always seem to have the chrome peeling?

could just be they weren't looked after though?

I think the Beta rims had the motorcycle style offset spokes ala Gsport rims? I never had any problem with the chrome on this one, used it for a year or 2 & then it's been in storage since & recently rebuilt
