Right then



I fitted a bear trap 2 head set to a F&F Tange Hot Heart, even though its firmly tightened there is play in it, if i tighten more the play goes but the bars don't spin tried a bit inbetween but still no good.
can any one help please. :daumenhoch:

Hey Steve, where is the play? Did the bearing seat go on the forks nicely or was it loose - were you able to move it by hand? I presume the cups went into the head tube nice and tight? And also - we've all made the mistake of putting the odd race in upside down, right? Let me know how you get on, regards,

i reckon the bottom bearing race was too loose

Sorry should have said what a donut i had been other than, done it! i had put the bearings in up side down top and bottom :crazy2:

Well when i was working it out, as to how to put it together it seemed the right way to put them in, you live and learn.
