Well, ya learn summat new every day.

I never knew Neil had a twin and Andy another brother that rode BMX until I saw the BMX Beat programme scan on the Rich Sigur thread.

Robert Ruffell was a seriouslly good freestyler, he rode for holeshot and rode in pro-class at bfa national comps.

Yeah, I agree with Macky. Robert Ruffell was a great rider, but unfortunately the amazing achievements of Andy & Neil overshadowed him immensly.
He would have probably got more recognition if he wasn't a Ruffell.

It'd be nice to see the other two runs from that episode of BMX Beat.

Rob was & is a really nice guy, very unassuming & always smiling, very quick & capable on a bike but had more fun riding with buddies than competing.

Theres another one too, Richard, equally nice & very much a 'Ruffell'

Theres Steve too who races motocross/enduro & pretty sh*t hot on a superbike (but he's an uncle) but still very much a 'Ruffell'.

Pleased to be able to class them all as friends.  :)
