do any of you old skoolers wear any protection when racing thinking of getting some body armour for the weekend

Ian, body armour is a must-have for the older rider as I'm sure Spillers will testify to very shortly on this thread as he's the current crash-test dummy!!   :D Humps

Yes mate get yaself some body armour/knee and shin pads  :daumenhoch: you tend not to bounce as well as you did 20 years ago  :LolLolLolLol: but if your old skool hard as nails and listen to slayer albums full blast then a long sleeve t-shirt and some jeans will do  ;D oh and a nappy (anyone know who i'm talking about  ::)

Naked BMXing,  That would be some sight!!!!

I'm thinking of getting some Body armour too and maybe some armoured boxers too.

Anybody got any recommendations?

I normally wear Race Face leg and arm protection for Downhill MTBing but ive gone for a Dainese Evo Jacket for this year - i look a bit like an American Footballer but ill bounce alright.... and itll save me from the elbows!!!

you'll be able to spot me alright - its like Dynasty on a JMC! well the shoulder pads are!
