do any of you old skoolers wear any protection when racing thinking of getting some body armour for the weekend

Ian, body armour is a must-have for the older rider as I'm sure Spillers will testify to very shortly on this thread as he's the current crash-test dummy!!    Humps

Yes mate get yaself some body armour/knee and shin pads  you tend not to bounce as well as you did 20 years ago  but if your old skool hard as nails and listen to slayer albums full blast then a long sleeve t-shirt and some jeans will do  oh and a nappy (anyone know who i'm talking about

I normally wear Race Face leg and arm protection for Downhill MTBing but ive gone for a Dainese Evo Jacket for this year - i look a bit like an American Footballer but ill bounce alright.... and itll save me from the elbows!!!

you'll be able to spot me alright - its like Dynasty on a JMC! well the shoulder pads are!
