Would you normally fit a start gate with a shovel

Well, wait no more!!
It's open now, and free to use!
I will be opening the track Saturday (Christmas eve) for a club only session. But hey - you are all in the club anyway (Aren't you?)
This is just to stop the local kids - cos the council won't pay anyone to open it Christmas eve. So we might as well have a session of our own.
I will be there from about 10AM, but only for a few hours. (After all it is nearly Christmas, and my family want my attention too!)
Remember though no helmet - no ride!
Also our 1st club race will be on
21st January
, the day before the Norwich opening, we just want a quiet(ish) day, but will inlcude an old school race if we get enough interest.
We have use of the pavillion, so registration will be indoors, and we have full canteen use so should be selling hot dogs n burgers tea coffee etc.
Let me know here if you fancy popping down on Saturday. (Or if you're up for racing on the 22nd!)
Merry Christmas

I can't see the pictures as image servers are blocked at work.
I recon you might be talking about the old medical walk in centre that is just opposite the track.
The council actually said that they'd have liked us to have the building, but because they have no planning permission it has to be taken down. Real shame cos it woulda been perfect - we could have had parties and stuff in it too!!
It's been un used for about 2 years - the only person to use it is the security guard who stays there 24/7 for some unknown reason.

I'll be up for the Race on 22nd, old school of course. Are you going to have some relaxed rules like Hersden or are you going to be more rigid. I rekon a lot of the Hersden guy's will make that one. I'll put a word in on the hersden Thread.

Remember the 1st race will be on the 21st, not the 22nd.
This means it will be held on a SATURDAY.
I will be down there with the key at about 10:00 on Christmas eve (Might be a tad earlier...)
See you there!

Looks as though I will be able to make the 21st as I have the weekend off of work and my cruiser needs an outing.

Yep you saw it right!
Nice set of 5 to sort the men out from the boys - luckily for me by the time i get to it I am almost going backwards!
But as my weight comes off I am getting faster - so watch out for me in err.. about a year! LOL
