Hey there,

Does anyone know of any top quality Anodising companies (preferably in the Manchester area)?
I phoned a company called Colour Anodising In Radcliffe, Manchester to get a quote for getting some Suntour XC Pedal cages done in black.
Fook me, they had a minimum charge of £70.00 +VAT which is waaay more than I wanted to pay!

you can get them done for alot less than that .. just keep trying different ones

Had my stuff reannodised by CCA. Great job. Prices shown below are from April 07 so prices may have gone up a bit but would recommend

WHEELS.
stripped and anodised any colour - £15
stripped and anodised black - £20 (more expensive because of longer process)
stripped and anodised any colour and polished edge - £50(ask for details)
polishing only - £15
full monty - £30 (stripped, polished and re anodised any colour except for black add £5)
all wheels are best to be stripped and prepared by custom colour anodising to receive the best finish.

FRAMES
stripped and anodised - £50 any colour
polishing - ASK
frames must be free from any paint as we do not strip paint!

BRAKING SYSTEMS X 2 (front & rear)
stripped, polished and anodised any colour - £15

CHAIN GUARD & CHAIN RING (COG)
stripped, polished and anodised any colour - £15
if seperate - £10 each

HANDLE BARS
stripped, polished and anodised any colour - £20

SEAT POST AND CLAMP
stripped and anodised any colour - £10
stripped, polished and anodised - £15

HUBS
stripped and anodised any colour - £10
stripped, polished and anodised - £15

Any other parts ive missed just let me know and i will give you a price.
just to let you all know anodising is not friendly to steal so if you are thinking of getting some bits done just check that there is no steal on the parts you require to have done. If there is please remove it. all parts will be checked by us also. any questions please call us on 01282 816852 ask for paul or mark. ALL ABOVE PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE POSTAGE. Postage cost is around £10-15 we use TNT or DHL. if its only small parts ie brake parts and they fit in a jiffy bag no more then £5.hope this helps
