Haro Gen1 Freestyler Finished
« on: March 09, 2008, 03:51 PM »
I Finished this a couple of weeks ago but only managed to take some pics in the sun today.. By far one of the nicest (and most expensive) builds so far for me!

I got this on ebay last summer, the previous owner had it from new and decided to paint it pink and apply Master decals :knuppel2:

I stripped it down and sent it to the chrome platers along with a set of Vector Haro Bars and they came back looking like this:-

Whilst they were being plated I made up the decals and stuck them on:-

I tried not to build it like every other Gen1 but you just cant help yourself as they look so good with blue parts so here it is:-

Parts breakdown...

F&F - Haro Freestyler (serial TTT1033F)
Bars - Vector Haro Signature
Grips - A'me
Wheels - Skyway Tuff 2 Alloy Hub
Tyres - Panaracer Freestyle
Headset - Tange MX3
Brakes - Dia Compe MX1000, Dia Compe Green cables, Dia Compe Tech 4 levers
Seating - Kashimax MX/Chrome Straight post/Suntour Seatclamp
Drivetrain - Sugino 1pc/Shimano SX Pedals/Suntour Freewheel/Sugino Chainwheel

Thanks to those who helped with parts.. Jai (sebmxer), Gaz (poolysheriff), Chris (wish i kept...), John (JT Racing), Lee (bananaman), eBay!

sweet build Del. I know what you mean they do look good with blue parts. hard to pull off with any other colourway in my opinion.

nice, are they the same forks that were on it? did you have to weld in the hole from standers?
