right often remember bitd my headset coming loose and last weekend after a few hours over braintree track my headset come a little loose how can i stop this from happeneing ?

try a headset lock,i think someone on here was selling some nos ones not long ago.

Or get a set of headset spanners and tighten the top nut and lower race up so the forks turn slightly stiffly and then back off the lower race whilst holding the top nut firmly until the forks turn nice and smoothly  :daumenhoch:
