I'll get the results up as soon as RATTY decides to PM them to me.

If you don't want to use your names because your wanted by the police, CSA or the MOB then I wont use them.

I want to try and make the OS Racing look a bit more professional and respectable.

I know everyone thinks its just a laugh and they dont take it seriously which BTW is complete BULLSHIT!!!!

I've only been in 1 race and when I took fruity on the last corner and was coming up on Greg in the 3rd Moto before he closed the door, you all know that competitive edge kicks in.

It doesn't matter whether you win or you come last.   But it sure does matter if the chap you usually beat pips you to the line.

Also after a few races etc, etc, I might be able to generate some STATS to show how riders are improving or falling off the pace.

I will update the other rounds at the same time.   I am still short of a few details on the riders.

Paul Rungay is Rooonga

Any one know the names and plates for these OS Racers?

Sonic
Glendower
KGBMatt
Longun
Shereen

And Plate # and Surname for Matt AKA Humps.

Who came first Humps or Humps00?

Are they brothers or Father and Son or totally unrelated?

RATTY has PM'd the results to me.

Paul Coleman Quadpaul #40 50 points
Lee Saunders Hooga #75 47 points
Sam Wonfor Nishiki 14 #?? 44 points
Dean ?? Diamond Dean #??? 41 points
tony waye ratty #27 38 points
Simon \Crocher Crooch #?? 35 points
Steve Earl  SE #?? 32 points
Peter Wallis Ammaco Pete #?? 29 points
Ian Poole elopnai #??? 27 points

The problem is they dont match the Points Structure that he gave last week that I thought was completely sorted and done with.    ???

The structure he gave last week would have Ammaco Pete on 30pts and Eloopnai on 28pts (which they aren't).

I've PM'd RATTY and see we'll see if the points structure is wrong or he is!!!!!!

We'll get there in the end.......................Hopefully!!!! :daumenhoch:

The Table has been updated so you can check it out.

The problem with the scores hasn't been settled yet and it might affect all 3 rounds if the Points System is wrong again!!!!

Moley i think this has something to do with whether points are added for motos - as there was only 9 riders this weekend i dont think you get points for motos.

previous 2 meetings we had more riders 15 and 18 i think...

of course i could have it completely wrong but thats what Rooonga told me at the weekend...

AAAAArrrrrrgggggghhhh!!!    I thought we sorted this out last week!!!!

I honestly dont have a clue about all of this.   I have never raced BITD.   I have had 1 OS Race and nobody knew how the scoring worked!!!!

I have never added points for motos.   I didn't know there was any points for motos.

The way I thought it went was down to the finals.    Where everybody had to race a final.

If you had 3 finals A, B and C

50 pts   A1 1st
47 pts   A2 2nd
44 pts   A3 3rd
41 pts   A4 4th
38 pts   A5 5th
35 pts   A6 6th
32 pts   A7 7th
30 pts   A8 8th
28 pts   B1 9th
26 pts   B2 10th
24 pts   B3 11th
22 pts   B4 12th
20 pts   B5 13th
18 pts   B6 14th
16 pts   B7 15th
14 pts   B8 16th
12 pts   C1 17th
10 pts   C2 18th
  8 pts   C3 19th
  6 pts   C4 20th
  4 pts   C5 21st
  2 pts   C6 22nd
  2 pts   C7 23rd
  2 pts   C8 24th

And 2 pts for anyone else who raced

This is what RATTY Originally PM'd me
Quote
The points are structured on the regional system that we used last year 50,47,44,41,38,35,32,30,28,26 etc

After that I asked around and started a topic to find out if anyone knew the correct scoring system!!!!

Nobody answered me.

If you want points for motos then thats fine.   But I don't think anyone remembers their Motos and all the finishing positions.

Do the Track officials keep track of all the scores?

Do they have a website where I can view them?

Somebody somewhere has to define the Scoring System.   That way all OS Riders know whats happening.

No more guessing!!!   No more I heard this or that!!!

If its based on an existing scoring system then Post a link to them or post their details!!!

Lets get this sorted out now and then its over and done with.

Then everyone can concentrate on the Racing an not be concerned whether their points tally is correct or not.

Can I order '1 Points Scoring System for Old School BMX Racing (All Regions/All Races)' to go please!! :daumenhoch:

Thank you

P.S.  Updating the Results tables is easy.   I wish working out which are the correct scores was too!!!

Tied points are decided by the placing in the final race :daumenhoch:

And Plate # and Surname for Matt AKA Humps.

Who came first Humps or Humps00?

Are they brothers or Father and Son or totally unrelated?

For the record, there is me, "Humps00" who is Alan Humphrey and I race #00.  Matt Humps is my eldest son who I put out in the OS group at Hersden to spice things up a bit and to 'flex' the rules a bit as he's 17 years old, 6'3" and been racing for about eight years.  He uses my '94 HAWK which is OS legal in that it has a 1" threaded and cantilever brake.  He races #21.

Humps  (the one and only Humps00)

Waiting for RATTY to sort the scoring out and then I can upload to the website. :daumenhoch:

Just need these 4 to fill in their details

The scoring system is now sorted (Finally).

There is a slight change.  I had the first 7 riders separated by 3pts and it should have been the first 8 riders separated by 3 pts and then the rest separated by 2pts down to a minimum or 2pts.

I will change the scores of the North and South Regions tonight when I get home.

I will try to make sure there are no more mistakes.

If anyone suspects anything is incorrect then please LMK as soon as possible so there are no problems later in the series.

OS Series Racing Scoring System
From 1st place to 8th place its a 3 point gap starting from 50 Points

 1st Place = 50 Points
 2nd Place = 47 Points
 3rd Place = 44 Points
 4th Place = 41 Points
 5th Place = 38 Points
 6th Place = 35 Points
 7th Place = 32 Points
 8th Place = 29 Points

From 9th place onwards its a 2 point gap

 9th Place = 27 Points
10th Place = 25 Points
11th Place = 23 Points
12th Place = 21 Points
13th Place = 19 Points
14th Place = 17 Points
15th Place = 15 Points
16th Place = 13 Points
17th Place = 11 Points
18th Place =  9 Points
19th Place =  7 Points
20th Place =  5 Points
21st Place =  3 Points
22nd Place
and Lower  =  2 Points

North and South Points are now updated using the correct scoring system.

The scores for those who came 8th and lower are affected by being deducted 1 point.

The only positional change to both North and South Regions are Humps and Ammaco Pete, who have swopped places in the South Region.

Sorry about the cock up but its all sorted now and it will be forever until the end of time (I hope)!!!!

Check out http://ossbmxracing.co.uk for the the results and finalised scoring system.

Thanks :daumenhoch:
