Just got some Mike Buff white Z-rims ,

Full wheels ,
ACS hubs etc

And they are faded or are now a very dirty white ,

Can they be bleached like Tuffs ?
Not after a Daz whiteness  :LolLolLolLol:
Just want them better than they are now  :daumenhoch:

not sure if it helps but buff's were always an off-white. I'd clean them using some kitchen cleaner then spray them and soak them over night in wd40 or better still GT85

and then buff them - no pun intended  :LolLolLolLol:

Yeh i know they were never a perfect white  :-\
I have a nos set of Mike Buffs
And sure enough they are an off white colour
Just wanted to get them usable

mmmmm kitchen cleaner  ;)
i have got some upvc cleaner for my windows might try that first think its just about the same stuff  :daumenhoch:

wouldn't use anything to aggressive on them just incase - mind you i sanded my red ones down using progressively finer grades of wet and dry until i got to 2000 grit.

I then did the soak trick and lastly bought some of the red coloured car polish from halfords and went to work on them with that - lastly covered them again in wd40 and buffed to a nice shine. the difference was night and day - i seriously considered throwing them away when they 1st arrived as they were in a right proper state

Heres a pic of how they turned out - was only really a few hours work in total over 2 days.
