i fancied another set for my new build
well they sertainly went higher than my " High " bid

a set of four mathauser finned brake pads? I think it's high but not silly high. i'd pay £60 for a single pair of they were split.

and because of that someone wanted to pay 255 bucks for them , and only a few people would even care they were on your build lol

i was going to send him one saying i bet your glad you didnt exept the 40 bucks, odd though as i got a set from oz mid last year for fook all

I just came into a set but they were corroded to fook.....

i reckon he knew he'd get more than $40

they should clean up , i have a set somewhere that were pretty coroded and came up like new with a bit of work

You should never come on old brake blocks, it corrodes them you know

And still on my race bike thanks mate. May have to think twice on Sunday before I use my brakes, especially if gary72 gets in front of me

can you imagine, on antiques roadshow," and now here we have some brake pads from the 70's or 80's, and dont they look just smashing, ooooohhhhhh these would fetch about £150 at one of countries top auction houses" and watch everybody running to there sheds to see what brake blocks are on the royal enfield

thats some serious collector/builder to pay that for a set of brake pads....like rich said, theres not that many people that would notice a detail like that...
