mark fowler the other letters from that issue are a paul from norwich james edwards , west sussexmichael wong , london id get a pic but the camea lacks batteries
I'm sort of bummed because I had a chance to submit my Dirtbike for that article. Moeller hit me up about getting some quality photos but I've been out of town and didn't want to send in my crappy pictures of the frame hanging on the wall.
"but its got a right strange mix of parts on it"i was thinking that , i dont get the impression that most of them used parts like that back in the day but i guess that was the ethos of the dirtbike , ie use whaever parts were available
I dont usually care a hoot about the "right" parts on a build but if you are doing an article on a classic bike .... ?

Funnily enough i was asked to look into getting rid of one of these, how would they tell if its the original one , he thinks it is,it has peregrine 48s but what tells the early one, and if it is what would he be looking at for an early clean dirt bike?being a mid school numpty i figured this was the place to askRich
please dont restore it , looks great as it is i love the look of it i cant stop looking at it lol
yeah i love geoffs too its a patina only achieved over time and use try not to change too many parts im pretty sure harris still has his yellow one im twitchy as im expecting a package to turn up
