Pro-lite Privateer
« on: February 18, 2008, 02:35 PM »
Just picked up a Pro-Lite Privateer on the weekend in fair condition.

Does anybody on here know much about them and can tell me how I know what year it is, what parts should be on it or have any test articles on it.

Many thanks

Thanks for all that info, as I said it is in only fair condition but it seems most of the parts are original.  Might have to give it an Oxalic bath to make the chrome come good, still has it's arayas but they're buckled and the seat post is buggered.

Will post it in the Museum when done just brought some pads from ebay for it as well

OK Dwain

I'll post one up in the next day or two, wife is away with the camera at the mo.

Are they quite rare nowadays, never see them come up on ebay.

it depends what your definition of "rare" is??

id say they are uncommon due to the fact that they
were never that popular BITD .
but if you are thinking rare= valuable well im afraid not :-[
unless of course you have the freestyler  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

i had and raced them as a kid and love em :smitten:
