Don`t look like they do, I don`t  :(
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
 Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
 Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
 Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

I think...

T3 = 83
J = Month, October
then number?

I think the same for all tange frames - Kuwi's included...

Here's a wild stab in the dark - do you think the T could be for Tange? not sure about the 3 and the J for Japan?

Does anyone have a tange made Aero pro that doesn't begin with T3J?

t is for tange, 3 - 83, j is the letter for the month it came out and then the last 4 numbers are the batch number.

basically they used the first 12 letters of the alphabet for each month a - january, b - febuary. etc

so yours would be j - october

Quimrider, I think your theory is for Mongoose only. I suspect that the J is for Japan as it would be one hell of a coincidence that all these frames that you guys have were all built in Oct 83 :santa_huh:

to be honest nosnod i don't have a clue i was just repeating what i found on a kuwi site to look smart, lol

have a look here

http://www.dreamgate.ne.jp/kuwahara/

then go to the kz-1 section

the bloke who runs the site, jamie, is a member on here, he might be the feller to ask about such frames.

Mines T3J 6777 im gonna call it lucky

Rich :)

So either raleigh bought a month of factory time and made all of them in that month, which makes sense as i know they had a massive stock and had to use them up for years after initial release or it means something else :LolLolLolLol:

Also, if this was the case, it would mean that there were at least 6,629 frame made in October '83 alone!  :santa_shocked:

Unlikely  :santa_undecided:

T4C8658 on my one.

At a guess, maybe it is Tange/Year84/Month C-March/ number...BUT

The only thing Tange stamped was bottom bracket shells and they then got welded to all different framesets?
