that chad pic is rad, many peeps into big bunny hop pump air style these days[ nowt wrong with that]out of non vert stuff
some new school riders cant handle the vert as their too used to pullin out these days, the white bowl is a good lesson in how not to pull out ,
proberly gonna get ripped now  :)

Totally agree Rory and I'm the other way, I struggle to get air on mini ramps etc. because I'm used to letting the vert do the work for me, on minis I just hang up and die!

Sounds cool to me mate......I just really have a problem with them. I think it's the pushing the front end back down that causes me the problem. It just seems such an alien concept to me - bizarre!

Sorry to hijack....so here's a pick of me from 1981, posted this in the freestyle section too, jumping out of a bowl in Newquay! I know there 3 pics together but it's the way I scanned them, it's the bottom pic I'm on about.

I struggle to get air on mini ramps

I never aired mini ramps until I started riding again in October 07. It's just a big pump at the bottom and an american bunny hop out of the coping. I think I'm too old for vert now, just not prepared to take the pain anymore.
