Kids lids
« on: February 07, 2008, 01:03 PM »
Took me lil one into a bike shop the other day that i thought was good (thay sell bmx stuff  ::) ) wanted to get him a lid so said to the bloke
"what have you got"?
He proceeds to show me all this lovely stuff with 'Bob the builder' on it and fluffy clouds. Now even though me boy is only 2 he even looked at them a bit funny  :-\.

So i asks if "you got the skate/bmx style"  to wich he replies "no thay dont make them"

Now i think thats bollox personally so does anyone know if you can get them and where from.

PS Dont say Halfords becuase thay are not having my money.

TA.  :)

Have you seen the other pix? They have made a few of them in different modes. Apparently there are 3 modes, standar,  hero and attack!  :LolLolLolLol:

I went to my local skateboard/snowboard shop, SS20. I ended up getting snowboard helmets for my boys cos they seemed to go down to smaller sizes, and they also came with clip in ear muffs. They are made by RED but Im sure there are loads.

Im hoping they will be off the stabalisers (with the pedals on!) this summer. Then the fun will really start!

PM Lazychubs, he may be able to tell you where he got Bailey's from.

Alternatively for full face try a Fly helmet from Groove Racing :daumenhoch:

I got both my daughters p1sspot helmets as they were a far better fit than the ones with the cartoons and stuff on them.
Got a TSG from Alans and a Protec one off ebay, both in pearlescent white and they put their own stickers on them...
Youngest daughter is 5 and her protec lid is actually too small for her now, so they definitely go down to small sizes.
