chrome plating

just wondered what sort of price im looking at for a frame, and/or forks..?
i know a powder coater does a frame for £30 near me, but would rather have chrome (if i can afford it!!)

frame & forks plated well = £120 - £150 ish

And do as much of your own prep/polishing as you can, then get the chroming company to prep it further to get the best possible finish, this is how i have done it in the past and had some decent results. They may claim that there polisher cannot get into tight areas (ooh err) so its worth trying to polish up areas lke the dropouts, gusset etc your self. I normally pay £150 inc prep and plating , sorry for the longwinded reply ;D:daumenhoch:

ooooo, quite a bit more than i thought then.
may just look out for some crhome forks then. ive put up a post and had a good look, but none on here, or egay
