motomag frame resto (updated photos) NOW FINISHED
« on: February 02, 2008, 07:36 PM »
i was given this motomag frame a while ago but was in real bad shape but i couldn't bring my self to throw it away so i decided to repair it,heres a few pics of how its going
first of all i welded up crack in top tube

then fabricated a new gusset as the old one had been badly welded before

then i removed old gusset and remainder of seat tube
this is the new seat tube and gusset mocked up to check fit all thats left to do is clean up seat tube and get it tig welded

Amazing stuff, true restoration work and bringing life back to something that the rest of us would probably have cleared as dead.  Top man  :4_17_5:  I can't wait to see more pics as you progress through to finished repair  :daumenhoch:.
